Abstract

Sclerosing peritonitis is a rare condition characterised by
fibrosis and adhesion of the peritoneum to loops of the small intestine. It is generally associated with continuous peritoneal dialysis, peritoneo-venous shunts or β-adrenergic blocking agents. In this case we report a female patient with idiopathic sclerosing peritonitis and systemic lupus erythematosus.
